WHAT IS WEALTH?

Most people believe that wealth is a special condition that is deserved by a few privileged members of society. This is a false belief.

 In the same way we can understand that health is no big deal , that it is our normal state of being, we can understand that wealth is also an aspect of our normal state of being.

Poverty is no different than disease; it is an abnormal, discordant or distorted state of being.

When we are in Awareness, we have the substance of our supply. And this spiritual substance  will manifest as whatever we need wherever we may be. It will manifest as people, things, houses, cars, food, money. But we must always remember that the food, things and money are not the supply. The infinite supply is the spiritual substance of consciousness.

Why should we consider this miraculous? Does  being healthy seem miraculous? Yet, the only reason we are healthy is because the infinitely intelligent substance of consciousness is keeping our body alive, whole and harmonious.

Do we have to check every few minutes to make sure that we are healthy? No, we trust that the spiritual substance of consciousness  will keep our body healthy. Do we have to continually check around us for signs that we are wealthy and that everything we need will be provided by spiritual substance? No, we trust that consciousness "...will go before us to make the crooked places straight."

In order to keep our body and soul healthy and wealthy, vital blood and spiritual substance must be flowing freely through our being. We keep the spiritual substance of Love and Wisdom flowing by giving and receiving harmoniously. The bread we receive is the bread that we have cast forth upon the waters and this spiritual bread has multiplied in the process. Like there is an infinite amount of light, air and water in the natural atmosphere, there is an infinite amount of spiritual substance in the spiritual atmosphere. This substance is our infinite supply. And if we embody it within our own being, it will manifest wherever and whenever it is needed. We have no need to accumulate for the future or to take thought or worry for our life. 

WEALTH IS A STATE OF CONSCIOUSNESS

Just like being healthy is the result of a wholly or Truthful state of consciousness, being wealthy is also the result of being in a joyous and loving state of Being. Real or Divine Love is spiritual substance. The more Love we embody, the wealthier we are. And Love multiplies and increases by giving it away.

Most people believe that those who are wealthy are those who have many possessions. This is a false belief. You could have many possessions and be in a stingy and miserable state of mind. In fact, there are some millionaires who suffer in a state of lack, greed and want because they desire to be even richer than they are. They envy those who are richer and they worry that they may lose their present fortune. That is not being wealthy! 

In the same way, being poor is not just lacking things; it is being in a state of want. Those who are in a state of want can only manifest lack. This is the Law of consciousness. A billionaire who is in a state of greed will die of hunger in the desert because money and bank accounts cannot help him there. But a man who embodies the spiritual substance of Love will be fed and clothed even in the desert.  

"To those who have [the consciousness or spiritual substance], more [manifested good] will be given, but to those who don't have [the consciousness or spiritual substance] even that [ the manifested Good] which they have will be taken away.

The signs always follow, they do not precede. Those who have the consciousness of abundance will continue to manifest abundance. And those who have the consciousness of poverty will begin to manifest poverty or lose what they have.

Where does this consciousness of lack and want come from?

It comes from our false identity. When we identify with our physical body and the hardships of our personal history, we believe in poverty and we are in want. 

Where does the consciousness of abundance come from?

"The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want..."

When we identify with our true identity, which is consciousness and Love, we enter the state of abundance. This is accomplished by surrendering all wants and realizing that we already are and have what we are seeking.

"Seek first the Kingdom of Heaven, and all those other things shall be added unto you."
