WHAT IS TRUTH?
MORTAL MIND
Most people assume that the Truth is what they are experiencing through their physical senses. They see physical events, birth, death, wealth, poverty, health, disease, peace, war, joy, sorrow, growth, decay, matter etc.. and they call this truth or facts. They watch the news on television and believe this is the truth. What they are doing is obtaining their truth from the realm of matter or spiritual darkness. So what they are really getting are LIES. When you get your truth from your physical senses, you become depressed and negative. Your thoughts and feelings are dark because the material world is a world of perpetual death. As soon as anything is born, it begins to die. Physicists will tell you that everything decays in the material world. And the material world has no integrity; it is in a state of continual change and fluctuation. When you get your truth from your physical senses, you also believe that your identity is your physical body, your personal thoughts, feelings and personal memories. When you identify with your physical body and your mortal thoughts and feelings, then you enter a perpetual state of FEAR and WANT. You have in fact been fooled by the world of appearances, matter and darkness.
THE RECEPTION OF TRUTH Where is the real Truth then? Right within your own being or mind. You are an individual expression of Truth. "...behold, the kingdom of God [TRUTH] is within you." Luke 20:21 So to get or receive the Real Truth, we must take our attention away from the world of appearances and place it on the Kingdom of Awareness that is within us. Any intelligence, wisdom, good, grace, mercy and love that has ever been manifested on Earth has come from the Kingdom of Awareness or Holy Mind that is within man. This is the same place where all the beautiful species of animals and plants come from. Even the beautiful form and intelligence of man originates from the Kingdom of Heaven. We can reunite with God and return His Love by becoming aware of the Kingdom of Truth that is within us. When we take our attention away from the fluctuations and lies of mortal mind and, instead, contemplate the Divine Ideas of God, we eventually begin to experience and manifest Heaven on Earth.
