WHAT IS RELIEF?

We create what we imagine and we attract what we imagine by how we feel.

Neville says: feeling is the secret. If we want to realize a state, we have to ask ourselves: "How would we feel if we were in that state NOW?

Emotions are not in time; they are in eternity. So, when we feel a certain way, it determines where we are in the spiritual world.

If we get the feeling, we already are where we want to be. And we will attract the corresponding life circumstances by the Law of Attraction.

Now, presently, many of us are in a state we do not like. Some of us are ill, some of us are poor and some of us are anxious, worried, fearful and confused.

But, since God or "I AM" is within us, we have the power to change all that.

How do we do it?

We imagine the state we desire to be in and get the corresponding feeling.

How would you feel if you were completely cured and your disease disappeared forever?

RELIEVED! That is the feeling. Health is our normal state. All we are desiring is to be normal. To be relieved is to return to your normal state.

 How would you feel if all your bills were paid and your credit card balance was at zero?

RELIEVED! That is the feeling. Wealth is our normal state, as strange as that may sound.  All we desire is to return to our normal state. When we return, we are relieved.

 How would you feel if your depression lifted and you were able to enjoy life again?

RELIEVED! That is the feeling. Joy is our normal state. All we desire is to return to normalcy and become functioning human beings again.

We have the power within us to return to where we belong, close to God in Heaven.

WORRY = LACK OF FAITH
FEAR = LACK OF FAITH
CONFUSION = LACK OF WISDOM
ANXIETY = LACK OF FAITH

           RELIEF = FAITH IN GOD

We think we are going to fix our problems by being anxious and worrying about them. But all we do is attract more of the same. We attract more of what we think and worry about.

When we worry, we become a magnet that attracts what we worry about.

When we are relieved and joyful, we become a magnet that attracts all the abundance and goodness that God desires to bestow upon us.

JOSHUA

Joshua told the children of Israel. " Choose whom thou will serve today: the Lord or Baal."

Now, Baal refers to any false god, such as the world , money, other people.

When we hope to solve our problems by counting on outer things, such as other people, money or physical things then we are worshipping Baal or a false god.

The real God is "I AM", our infinite consciousness.

Now, the people said: " We choose to serve the Lord!"

But did they really understand what they were saying?

Joshua then said: " If you choose the LORD, then you are witnesses against yourselves!"

What did he mean?

He meant that they could no longer blame anyone or anything for what happens in their life.

When we understand that the "I AM" that is within us is the cause of everything that is happening to us, then we are witnesses against ourselves.

We can no longer blame anyone or anything for our suffering. Our thoughts and feelings are the only cause.

This is a hard Truth to accept. But it is also a very liberating Truth.

If we are the cause of all our problems, then we can be the cause of our relief and our joy.

To have faith in God is to stop worrying and rejoice in all that is Good. It is as simple as that.

To fear and worry is to sin or miss the mark. To miss the mark is not to realize the purpose for which we were created. We were created to reveal the Glory of God.

And the people answered: " We are witnesses against ourselves!"
