HEALING WISDOM
Most people think that Reality is the physical world. But, in fact, the physical world is the lowest level of the universe. It is a world of effects, perpetual change and fluctuation.
What is Reality then?
Reality is God. God's Reality is unchanging, holy, eternal, omnipresent, omniscient, omnipotent and infinitely alive.
Below God, are the Heavens of the spiritual world. These Heavens are also much more real than the physical world.
All Heavens are enlightened and enlivened by the Light and warmth of God which is Divine Love and Wisdom.
Since we are also present in the spiritual world, we can rise into these Heavens by understanding what is True and willing what is Good.
If we do, our life on Earth will become equally real and beautiful. And everything we will see will have meaning and purpose.
Those people who base their life on the fleeting appearances of the physical world live in fear.
And those who base their life on the eternal, omniscient, omnipresent and omnipotent reality of God are centered in faith.

1. Your body and your life are the physical manifestation of what you are in reality.
2. In reality, you are your will and your understanding.
3. Your will is what you love the most and your understanding is what you believe to be true.
4. If you do not like your life, you must transform your will and understanding.
5. If you want a beautiful and meaningful life, you must love what is Good and believe what is True.
6. The Truth is that Love and Wisdom emanate from the Lord in Heaven and Heaven is within your own being.
7. The Truth is that real joy is only derived from being creative, useful and loving to others and the Lord; this is the meaning of Goodness.
8. Believe what is True and do what is Good and you will eventually be joyful, holy and healthy.
9. Begin by being good and true in the particular details of your life and the general form of your life will ultimately be transformed into something beautiful and meaningful.

The story of Adam and Eve is about a Golden Age when man's mind was at the holy level of Heaven and man reaped all the fruits from this Tree of Life in the Garden of Eden. Adam represents man's intellectual side while Eve corresponds to his emotional side. When man's emotional side was tempted by his lower mind or the serpent, he descended to a lower state of consciousness where he had to experience not only the consequences of Good but of evil as well. This is the level where most human beings are now. In this spiritual state, everything seems difficult and we experience the suffering associated with our sinful behavior.
What is sin? In order to sin, we have to be in darkness, falsehood or ignorance. To be ignorant is to only believe in your senses and ignore your inner spiritual reality. It is to be like a serpent whose whole being is in the lower level of earth. To sin is to stop trusting in the infinite Providence of the Lord and to only trust in your own powers.
We can return to the paradise of Eden by acknowledging the Lord and trusting in his infinite Providence. This means that we must elevate our mind from the level of ignorance to the level of Heavenly Wisdom. This is why Jesus said that, if we want to enter the Kingdom of Heaven, we must become again like a child who is innocent, trusting and loving.
The soul attracts that which it secretly harbours; that which it loves, and also that which it fears; it reaches the height of its cherished aspirations; it falls to the level of its unchastened desires,--and circumstances are the means by which the soul receives its own. Every thought-seed sown or allowed to fall into the mind, and to take root there, produces its own, blossoming sooner or later into act, and bearing its own fruitage of opportunity and circumstance. Good thoughts bear good fruit, bad thoughts bad fruit. The outer world of circumstance shapes itself to the inner world of thought, and both pleasant and unpleasant external conditions are factors, which make for the ultimate good of the individual. As the reaper of his own harvest, man learns both by suffering and bliss.(James Allen)
We are also told in the fifty-fifth Psalm, to "cast thy burden upon the Lord." Many passages in the Bible state that the battle is God's not man's and that man is always to "stand still" and see the Salvation of the Lord. [Florence Scovel Shinn]
Real love is selfless and free from fear. It pours itself out upon the object of its affection, without demanding any return. Its joy is in the joy of giving. Love is God in manifestation, and the strongest magnetic force in the universe. Pure, unselfish love draws to itself its own; it does not need to seek or demand. Scarcely anyone has the faintest conception of real love.[Florence Scovel Shinn]
There is no peace or happiness for man, until he has erased all fear from the subconscious. Fear is misdirected energy and must be redirected, or transmuted into Faith. Jesus Christ said, "Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith?" "All things are possible to him that believeth." I am asked, so often by my students, "How can I get rid of fear?" I reply, "By walking up to the thing you are afraid of." "The lion takes its fierceness from your fear." Walk up to the lion, and he will disappear; run away and he runs after you.[Florence Scovel Shinn]
Things are not brought into being by thinking about their opposites. Health is never to be attained by studying disease and thinking about disease; righteousness is not to be promoted by studying sin and thinking about sin; and no one ever got rich by studying poverty and thinking about poverty. Medicine as a science of disease has increased disease; religion as a science of sin has promoted sin, and economics as a study of poverty will fill the world with wretchedness and want.(Wallace Wattles)
