WHY DO WE ATTRACT WHAT WE FEAR?
We manifest whatever deeply impresses our subconscious mind.
When we fear something, we have it constantly in our mind.
And these distorted images are continually impressed upon our subconscious.
Whatever is in the subconscious mind or spiritual substance eventually manifests itself.
It is not therefore the thing that we fear that is the problem; it is the fear itself.
In Truth or spiritual Light, there is nothing to fear.
HOW DO WE GET RID OF FEARFUL OBSESSIONS?
Our fears originate in our egotistical self.
We are afraid because we do not trust the universe and God.
We are fooled by appearances and we think that things happen by chance or accident and anything can happen to us at any moment. This is a falsehood.
The universe is ruled and maintained by Divine Providence.
When we surrender to the Divine Will, we are protected from many hazards.
Many persons, when they are diagnosed with an illness, become full of fear and then are unable to heal.
This continues until they come to a point of despair and give up the fight in their mind.
And it is precisely when they have surrendered that they begin to heal.
Why is it that they begin to heal when the ego surrenders? When they surrender, they leave their fate in the hands of God and replace fear with faith.
The more we try to deny fear, the bigger it grows. The only way we can deal with fear is by using the law of non-resistance.
We should not resist what we do not like or want. This means that we should not resist illness or poverty.
When we start to fear something, we should reason with our mortal mind this way:
"I am obeying the laws of Heaven, therefore whatever happens to me is for my own Good. Whatever God sends my way is for my own good. I will accept whatever happens to me with gratitude. Whatever happens, I will stand still in the Peace of the Lord."
Fears are reinforced by denial and neutralized by affirmations. This is why the Lord said: "Do not resist evil." When we resist evil, we give it the power which it never had. When we accept it, it self-destructs. This is the law of non-resistance.
WHY IS FAITH SO IMPORTANT?
It is important because it affects our whole life.
We attract into our life more of what we think about.
Therefore, if we want to attract what is for own good, we should be thinking about the Good that Divine Providence has in store for us.
We must try to elevate our mind into the higher regions of the spiritual world. This is where the spiritual Light of God resides.
If our mind can remain there, our life will be blessed by health, joy and prosperity.
When we are not faithful in the Lord and do not trust the universe, we live in a state of constant fear and we carry the burdens of life upon our own shoulders. Everything in our life then becomes difficult and complicated. And when we try to fix our problems, we create more problems.
If we are not in faith, we must be in fear and doubt; there is nothing in between. This is why we must understand the universe until we attain faith.
Some people say: I do not know if there is a spiritual world; I will believe it exists when I see it.
If we could see the spiritual world with our natural senses, it would be natural, not spiritual.
We are in the spiritual world right HERE and NOW. If we were not, we would not be able to either think, feel or desire.
But the spiritual world has many levels. The higher levels are enlightened and enlivened by the Wisdom and Love of the Lord while the lower levels are in the darkness of falsehood and evil.
When our being is in the lower levels of darkness, it is in fear.
To escape from this spiritual darkness and rise into the Heavenly spheres of Light and Wisdom, we must understand Truth and become useful, selfless and loving.
In the spheres of Heaven, we are in the faith of the Lord and we attract all the Heavenly blessings into our life.
